Vito Abaci is a devoted husband and a young father of three, living in the beautiful town of Asti, Italy. His journey began with a sudden and life-threatening illness — meningitis. What followed was a battle against deteriorating health that led to a critical need for Impella® heart pump support after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The hardest part of this challenge was being separated from his beloved family, a struggle that weighed heavily on him during his darkest days. But through resilience and unwavering strength, Vito has emerged from this fight, bringing with him a renewed perspective on life.
