Impella The Impella® Circulatory Support System uses minimally invasive catheters that can support the heart with up to 5 liters of blood per minute. The catheters can be inserted percutaneously, via a cut-down, or in the OR.

AB5000 The AB5000™ Circulatory Support System consists of the AB5000™ console that supports bi-ventricular BVS® 5000 Blood Pumps, AB5000™ ventricles or a combination of the two. Using the same cannula and console, patients can be easily transitioned from the BVS® Blood Pump to the AB Ventricle without reopening the chest (closed-chest transition).
The AB5000™ Ventricle can be run on an AB5000™ console or the new iPulse™ Console.

The BVS® 5000 was the first extracorporeal, or outside the body, ventricular assist device on the market and is still the most widely used bridge to recovery device with systems located in more than 700 institutions throughout the world.
The BVS® 5000 Blood Pump can be run on an AB5000™ console or the new iPulse™ Console.
