BVS 5000i
This console was the first commercially available console and is located in more than 600 institutions worldwide and has supported thousands of patients between the ages of 8 and 84. The console is capable of providing support to one or two BVS 5000 Blood Pumps (uni or bi-ventricular support) and is still the most widely used bridge to recovery device on the market today.

BVS 5000t
The BVS 5000t, or transport console, was developed out of the need to support the ABIOMED HUB and SPOKE systems thus allowing patients to be transported between institutions. This system offers the same capabilities as the BVSi in a smaller/ lighter transportable system.
