Abiomed Europe manufactures Impella technology, the world's smallest minimally invasive, high performance pump system with integrated motor and sensors.

Its processes include PPS and CAQ-aided manufacturing, micro-mechanical assembly in a class 100,000 cleanroom, and careful final inspection with 100% individual product validation.

Our quality management system is certified in accordance with DIN EN 13485.

All medical devices supplied by Abiomed Europe are approved in accordance with European medical device directive 93/42/EC, appendix II, and bear the CE mark.
